Marianne Weber

Marianne has served as program coordinator of the Honda-Ohio State Partnership since 2003, with a focus on development of the Honda-Ohio State Math Medal award to promote STEM education and engineering as a career choice. The Math Medal was introduced to central Ohio high schools in 2005, and was expanded to southwestern Ohio in 2010. In 2018, the award was expanded to include all STEM areas.

She also coordinates the Honda scholarship program, which is the group of Math Medal & STEM award recipients who receive scholarships to attend The Ohio State University.  More than 2,200 high school seniors have received the Math Medal & STEM award in the past 14 years and 223 of those recipients were awarded the Honda scholarship. Marianne received the Honda-Ohio State Partnership award in 2011, in recognition of the math medal and scholarship programs’ success.

In addition, Marianne manages continuing education at OSU’s Center for Automotive Research (CAR) and has nearly 20 years of experience teaching technical and business communications at Columbus State Community College and North Central State in Mansfield.
